1 : Melbourne
|
|
On
your arrival at Melbourne airport, you will be met by our local
representative and transferred to your hotel. Overnight at the
hotel.
If you are arriving in the morning (in the evening, enjoy dinner
on board the Colonial Tramcar Restaurant, an award-winning 1927
tram converted to a first class restaurant.)

2 : Melbourne |
|
After
breakfast, enjoy a morning tour of Melbourne including the RoyalBotanic
Gardens, St Paul''s Cathedral, Parliament House and the Shrine
of Remembrance. This afternoon stop at the Warrook Cattle Farm.
On arrival on Phillip Island visit the Koala Conservation Center
and then observe the nightly ritual of the famous Penguin Parade.
Return to Melbourne late evening. Overnight at the hotel.

Day
3 : Melbourne - Alice Springs
|
|
Early
morning check out and transfer to the airport for flight to Alice
Springs (flights to arrive prior to 1.00pm). On arrival at Alice
Springs airport , you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
This afternoon enjoy a tour of this outback town. See the historic
Telegraph Station, Royal Flying Doctor Service, School of the
Air, Alice Springs Reptile Center and Anzac Hill Lookout. Overnight
at the hotel.

4 : Ayers Rock - The Olgas
|
|
After
an early breakfast, depart for Uluru (Ayers Rock), stopping at
acamel farm where you can take an optional ride. This afternoon
travel through desert plains to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas). Walk to
the Valley of the Winds lookout and gaze down the central valley
of Kata Tjuta. After sunset with sparkling wine, enjoy a delicious
Australian barbecue dinner. There is time for stargazing, and
your guide will point out the Southern Cross and many other constellations
of the southern sky. Overnight at the hotel.

5 : Ayers Rock
|
|
After
breakfast tour the caves at the base of Uluru and hear stories
of the Aboriginal Dreamtime. This evening enjoy a glass of wine
as you watch sunset over Uluru from the special viewing area known
as 'sunset strip'. Look for the subtle color changes! Overnight
at the hotel.

6 : Ayers Rock - Cairns
|

After
breakfast, the morning is free for shopping and relaxation.
Later check out and transfer to the airport for flight to
Cairns. On arrival at Cairns airport, you will be mey and
transferred to your hotel. Rest of the day is at leisure.
Overnight at the hotel.

7 : Cairns
|
|
After
breakfast, board the Great Adventures high speed catamaran tothe
Outer Barrier Reef. View the coral and fish from a semi-submersible
craft six feet below the surface. A marine biologist will give
an informative presentation on this natural living wonder. Enjoy
a buffet lunch on-board the Great Adventures pontoon. Return to
the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

8 : Cairns
|
 |
After
breakfast, join the famous Kuranda Railway for a breathtaking
journey to the village of Kuranda. Free time in Kuranda
to explore. Return to the lowlands by the Skyrail Cableway.
Visit the award winning Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park
before being transferred back to your hotel. Overnight at
the hotel.

9 : Cairns - Brisbane - Gold Coast
|

After
breakfast, check out and transfer to the airport for your
flight to Brisbane. On arrival at Brisbane airport you will
be met and transferred to your hotel in Gold Coast. Overnight
at the hotel.

10 : Gold Coast
|
 |
After
breakfast, proceed for a full day tour to Dream World. Return
to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

After
breakfast, proceed for a full day tour to Sea World. Return
to the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

12 : Gold Coast - Brisbane - Sydney
|
 |
After
breakfast, check out and transfer to the Brisbane airport,
to board the flight to Sydney. On arrival at Sydney airport,
you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnight
at the hotel.

13 : Sydney
|
|
After
breakfast, cross the famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and visit the
well known surf beach of Manly. Travel through the historic 'Rocks'
area to Circular Quay where you will join your Sydney Harbour
luncheon cruise. After lunch continue past the Botanical Gardens,
stopping at Mrs Macquarie's Chair. Journey to Watson's Bay and
The Gap, before arriving at famous Bondi Beach for a short stop.
Return to the city through Paddington, Chinatown and Darling Harbour.
Overnight at the hotel.

14 : Sydney
|
|
After
early breakfast, visit the spectacular Blue Mountains. Stop at
the Skyway and Scenic Railway, where there is the opportunity
for an optional ride. Enjoy the views of the Three Sisters before
visiting Featherdale Wildlife Park. Pass Homebush Bay, site of
the 2000 Olympic Games on return to Sydney. Overnight at the hotel.

15 : Depart Sydney

Your
tour concludes today after breakfast. You will be transferred
to Sydney Airport by taxi for your onward flight.
